My EDGE Project was making work experience related to my major in South Korea. The reason I chose this as my EDGE project was it can be a large support when I want to get a job and also it would be a good project with my major. I wanted to do in the US for my career, but I cannot do that because of my visa problems. Therefore, I decided to go back to Korea during the summer break and do the works. I worked at the cafe in my hometown. The boss was busy because of his other businesses. Therefore, I was the manager of the cafe and my boss let me do overall works in the cafe. Paik’s Coffee is one of the famous franchise coffee shops in South Korea. I worked as a manager in this café during the summer vacation. My project was focused on managing the overall things in the store such as managing inventories, workers’ salaries, and regular café jobs.
